The Role
The client is looking for a Founding GTM Strategy & Operations Analyst with 2-4 years of experience to build its go-to-market engine from scratch. You are an analytically minded, high-intensity operator coming from consulting (MBB preferred) or strategy and operations at a high-growth tech company, who wants to break into the startup world and own something meaningful. You will sit at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing, turning what the client builds into narratives, launches, and materials that drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Build the product marketing function from zero, owning case studies, sales enablement materials, messaging, and customer personas
- Run market research and competitive analysis to shape the client's differentiated positioning across customer segments
- Work directly with the sales team to understand objections, customer language, and which segments close fastest, then turn those insights into GTM strategy
- Own feature launches end to end, coordinating across product, engineering, sales, and marketing
- Tackle high-impact strategic projects such as market expansion, partnerships, and pricing as company needs evolve
Dealbreaker
- Experience at MBB consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or similar firms like Oliver Wyman
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in consulting, strategy and operations, or growth at a high-growth tech company
- A degree from a top-tier university (target schools for MBB recruiting)
- Exceptional writing skills: clear, structured, non-AI-generated prose
- Deck-building and structured market research experience
- Demonstrates ownership by building things outside the core role scope
- Native or near-native fluency in English, written and spoken
Nice to Have
- Transitioned or transitioning into a tech or startup strategy or growth role
- A top MBA program (for example HBS, Stanford GSB, Wharton)
- Comfort with data analysis from CRM or analytics tools
