A confidential, well-established seafood processing and logistics operation in BC's wild seafood industry.

The Role

The company is looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Assistant Operations Manager to support the Senior Vice President of Operations with day-to-day logistics, fleet coordination, and plant operations. The right candidate is currently working on fishing vessels (as a fisherman, deckhand, or similar) and is ready to move from the water to the docks. This is not a desk-only role: you will be in the warehouse and on the dock, coordinating freight, solving problems in real time, and building relationships with fishermen and internal teams.

Work Environment and Schedule

Monday to Friday with flexible hours (typically about 8:00am to 4:30pm), plus occasional weekend work during peak seasons. The work is split between the office, plant floor, warehouse, and dock, and no two days are the same.
